Inside the Tower of London (2018)

Episode Overview

The Tower of London may appear immaculate today, but its history is far from clean. For ages, waste was discarded into the River Thames, but chief curator Tracy Borman uncovers that what was once seen as refuse is now valuable. She collaborates with a group of archaeologists on a rare foreshore survey, unearthing incredible artifacts, including pottery dating back a millennium and pieces of ancient armor.
