Sam Ollerenshaw and Katy Mills have been engaged for a year and a half, but Katy has dreamed of her wedding for as long as she can remember. With Sam's modest income, they receive a budget of £12,000 for the celebration. However, there’s a twist: Sam must make all the choices on his own, and Katy must remain completely in the dark about every detail until the day of the wedding.
