Episode Overview

In the remote community of Port Protection, survival hinges on ingenuity, and for long-time resident Sam, that means making his gear last. He embarks on a mission to find and trap minks to treat his boots with mink oil. Gary ventures out to the shoreline in search of food, but with the extreme tides occurring only twice a month, he knows he must be swift to secure his meal. Meanwhile, Hans and Timbi are eager to develop their land into a productive farm, but recent injuries force them to lean on their neighbors for support.
